I have quite a few paintings that have not been shared. Some I forgot I made. Some I thought didn't fit in a particular collection or set at the time of creating them. Some I've already framed up and showed in my art shows but never put up for a sale.
It feels like cheating to use these paintings for a new collection, but, they have never been shown so I feel its ok. And, my heart has been aching to show this body of work. Until now its somehow not felt like there's been a connection between it all and I finally see a common thread. They were all forgotten. Lol.
